Especial security tags are divided into three groups:
The first one is a stand-up product that is designed to be fixed on the surface to display mobiles, tablets, and cameras at the electronic stores. The base is designed to allow the recharging of the connected devices, so the customer can easily work with the mobile phone or tablet at the store, checking its performance and making more purchases. The base begins to alert if anyone intends to detach the product from the sensor or any related parts, such as the charging cable or even removing the base from the table which will activate the alarm.
Mobile, tablet and camera alarm system is a very useful tool to avoid theft when displaying these types of products and, at the same time, attracting customers to increase the sales. This type of self-alarm tag does not require an EAS gate in the store and can be used as a standalone device. However, if the base passes through the gate, the gate itself detects it and alerts, as well.
RAT systems are categorized as the second group. They can be used at showrooms to display electronic goods such as laptops, LCDs, computers and other home appliances when recharging is not important. This type of alarm system consists of two sensors at the beginning and at the end, the first one is fixed onto the displaying surface and the other is attached to the desired product, and warns if anyone disconnect any part or when its wire is cut off. This kind of tag or store alert system also warns if it crosses the store gate.
Spider tags as the third type of special store tags are used to protect and secure the boxes of electronic goods and many other products. The special feature of these store tags is their high security. If the wire is cut off, the tag will alert itself, and even if it crosses the gate, the EAS gate also alerts. These types of tags usually have AM and RF technology at the same time.
