These antenna models detect from both sides and create an approximately circular field around themselves, typically detecting retail security tags within a one-meter radius and anti-theft labels within an 80-centimeter radius. The primary application of this system is in hypermarkets or stores with 2-meter-wide entrances, where installing this anti-theft gate in the center of the entrance provides complete security.
This system does not perform well in noisy environments and is more suited for locations such as hypermarkets and stores with entrance widths greater than 1.5 meters, where it is placed in the center of the doorway. In terms of detection, its tag and label detection is weaker than the dual antenna system, and it is recommended based on specific store conditions. The single antenna gate does not work alongside dual antenna systems, which commonly occurs in commercial complexes where store entrances are adjacent to each other.
The magnetic field of this system is circular or elliptical around it, detecting tags or labels up to 80 centimeters from each side. This system is not suitable for small stores where merchandise is located close to the entrance door, because tagged items must be at least 2 meters away from the gate.

Retail anti-theft gates, also known as store security gates, prevent unauthorized removal of store merchandise. In a store equipped with these security gates, plastic components (anti-theft tags) or small paper labels (anti-theft labels) are attached to merchandise. After a customer selects items and goes to the checkout to pay, the cashier removes the tags from the merchandise using a special device called a tag detacher, or deactivates the labels attached to the merchandise using a device called a label deactivator. If someone removes merchandise from the store without the seller's permission, the tags and labels on the merchandise send a signal to the gates at the store exit where the security (anti-theft) gate is installed, triggering the anti-theft gate alarm.
