The super pencil tag, also known as ULTRA PENCIL and hammer pencil tag (HAMMER TAG), is a type of AM tag that features a large coil (FERRITE 40 mm), providing high detection sensitivity by the retail anti-theft gate. The super pencil tag, together with a tag pin, is used as a clothing anti-theft tag (coat tag, women's apparel tag, men's apparel tag, suit tag, shirt tag, children's clothing tag, bag tag, shoe tag). It can also be used with a lanyard strap (anti-theft tag strap) as a bag tag, shoe tag, metal item tag, handled item tag, and more.

The super pencil tag, due to its lighter weight, is suitable as a lightweight tag compared to other retail anti-theft tags for formal wear and delicate fabrics. It is also one of the types of AM pencil tags (rod tags or pen tags).
